[The powder feeder](https://vaclab.ru/devices/powder_feeder) and the supplied [power supply unit](https://vaclab.ru/devices/powder_feeder_power_source) provide material in the form of a powder for explosive thermal evaporation. It can be used both with powder feeders of our production and others. It is controlled from the front panel manually, or remotely via the RS-485 interface, the Modbus RTU protocol.

Explosive evaporation allows for the evaporation of alloys and compounds, including multicomponent ones with very different pressures of the components. In this case, the stoichiometry of the starting material is retained in the sprayed layer as well. This is achieved by feeding the powder onto a superheated surface, due to which each grain evaporates immediately, ensuring the transfer of the material to the substrate in the original ratio of components.
