# Powder feeder power source

The power source can be used both for supplying pulsed DC voltage for our powder feeders and for Soviet-era powder feeders. It can be operated manually or remotely by an RS-485 interface Modbus RTU protocol.

The powder feeder is used for feeding materials for flash evaporation which enables deposition of alloys, mixtures and compounds with preserved stoichiometry. The powder fed drops onto a very hot surface and each gravel evaporates instantly thus forming a coating with the same ratio of elements or compositions.

The powder feeder comes with a special power source that enables to adjust and regulate properly feeding rate.
