# Power supply for pulsed arc source PS 346

The unit is designed for charging a capacitive storage device and initiating the discharge of a [pulsed arc evaporator](/devices/arc_evaporators/pulsed_arc_source).

The adjustable charging voltage is 0..350 V, pulse frequency 1..25 Hz

Control is carried out via the RS485 interface (ModBus RTU protocol).
